I am officially on vacation. After driving through the night i am at my parents for Thanksgiving. My dad is a computer nut, so I can post, but not with any regularity for the next 5 days or so.

On a good note, the rental car we drove down was awesome. 05 Murcury Sable with all the bells and whistles. Sweet ride. Pretty good on gas too.

Well, seeya in a bit, Turkey is cooking. Mmm, must do what turkey aroma tells me... :p

It's 10:45 pm and tomorrow we leave for the rest of the weekend. We're going to be out of town until Sunday afternoon and I won't be able to play with my sims! :( How will I stand it? :p *sigh* I guess I'd better go pack. See you later.

Ahhhh, I love my family, but "NOTHING COULD BE FINER THAN TO BE IN CAROLINA (and therefore 500 miles away from all the crazy people) IN THE MORNING!" ;)

We had Thanksgiving Dinner with my husband's family in Kentucky. My MIL had stayed up all night making potato salad and sweet potato casserole for my Hubby because she said it was his favorite and he won't eat anything else. (Buzz, wrong answer, Nana! LOL) She piled up a big plate, sat down on her sister's love seat in the living room (no room for everyone in the kitchen) and promptly fell asleep! She litterally fell asleep in her potato salad like a Sim!!! We'd wake her up, threaten to take the plate away (because she was spilling it on the loveseat!) she'd get angry at us for not letting her eat in peace (and laughing at her) and then fall asleep again. I finally just walked over and snatched the plate away. We woke her up 3 hours later when it was time to go, and she was very annoyed and cried all the way home because she'd missed Thanksgiving.

BTW, have I told you that this woman is only 57? :(

Ahhhh, there's no place like home! LMAO

She cried all the way home? Thus adding to your already wonderful, aforementioned car trip from the warm burny place?

You poor thing. You need a vacation after your holiday, sounds like to me. Maybe you can get MIL to babysit and take hubby to a romantic hotel for a night ... :p

57? OMG! Your MIL is only a year old than I am!

I've stayed up all night for sick kids. (That's been a few years, though.)

I've stayed up until around 1 AM playing the Sims.

    But cooking? Nope.
