Roofing issues On the sims 2, there is an option to remove roof. I am remodeling my pre-made sims home and want a different roof. How do I go about getting rid of the one I have? I'm a newbie, so keep that in mind.
You remove the roof the same way you do for base game TS2. In build mode/roofs/autoroofs there is a picture of a house with a slash through it. Click on that and all the roofs on the lot will go away. If you just want one roof to go away, then ctrl drag click over the part of the roof that you want to disappear.
Thanks Thank you so much...a little off topic, but on just the regular sims 2 can you put a shopping mall in pleasantview, or do you need an expansion pack for that?
You can as a community lot. I did. None of your sims can work there unless you have Open For Business though.

Nope, you can put a shopping mall up anywhere with just the original Sims2 game, but if you want your sims to work at the mall that's what you would need Open for Business for. But with or without it, you can bring any of your sims there to shop without any problems.
