Same sex twins? I was wondering if it was possible to have twins of the same sex without a hack or a mod. All of the twin births in my game have been boy/girl, regardless of the number of times I re-entered the game (which I have been known to do on occasion). I've heard that the odds of boy/boy, boy/girl and girl/girl are all pretty much the same, but I have yet to see that in practice. If it can't be done without a hack or mod and there is one available, would someone be kind enough to point me in the right direction? Thank you.
Are you closing down the whole game or just exiting the lot? If you save the lot right before she goes into labor, or even when she starts, then you should be able to mess with your odds a bit. If she has boy/girl twins exit the lot without saving, then head back in. Keep trying till you get boy/boy or girl/girl twins. I seem to always get same gender twins now after I got my first set of twin boys. Otherwise before it was always boy/girl sets. Closing down the whole game probably won't work, but just keep trying with reloading the same lot over and over again. I do this all the time if I want a specific gender born. Once I had to do it 12 times before I finally got a girl...they already had 5 boys!
I've had more sets of same-sex twins than of boy/girl sets. One family in my new Seasons neighbourhood had a girl, then a set of girl/girl twins, and straight after that another set of girl/girl twins! I didn't use any cheats or anything, it just happened.

And yeah, I'm guilty of doing it to get a certain gender too. hugzncuddles: That's really interesting, I'm jealous! That said, I wonder if the odds changed with a newer expansion pack? (I have through OFB, plus Family Fun and Glamour Life) Or were you getting same sex twins with University and Nightlife as well?
I also usually get the boy/girl twin set, but I have had at least one set of boy/boy and one set of girl/girl twins. The girl/girl twins were born when I only had the University expansion pack.
