Sims 2: bodies and hair missing I've just installed the sims 2 back on my pc and the game starts and works fine apart from the bodies and hair have disappeared!! The faces look as if there floating in mid-air. If i click goto or get the sim to do something then it does, but i can see the body or hair. I have the latest drivers for my geforcefx 5200 256mb graphics card and everything else i.e tigerwoods 2006 and GTA SA work fine. I had it install on this pc about a year ago with no problems, but have got a new 250GB harddrive since then and this is the first re-install of the sims 2. my pc spec: 3.2Mhz pentium 4 250GB hard drive GeForce fx 5200 256Mb 1024 DDR ram Windows XP Pro SP1 has anyone got any ideas of how to fix or had this problem themselves. Please help!!!
Well did you download some skins or hair meshes? Maybe it can't find the files to generate that sim. Does this happen on all of your sims or just a few? Very odd but I'm sure someone on here can help you come up with a solution. Ruth
Haven't downloaded anything extra or new and haven't installed any addon's / expansion packs. just install it straight out of the box. the only thing is, when i install disk one, it didn't ask for disk 2,3 or 4 to be inserted. and when i tried to play it (launch it) after installation it wouldn't run. so i put in disk 2 (which it didn't ask for and the game started to play. Can't find the install manual anywhere so am just play it by ere.
