Sims 2 crashing during start, screen driver = problem Just starting this message with: hoping this is the right place to post! Now, I've got a really strange problem with my Sims 2. I've tried my friend's CD and an installation my brother got for me, and both of them give me the same message. It's something wrong with the screen driver: ialmrnt5.dll The message I get says this before my entire screen blows itself up and turns white with blue and red pixels here and there to show contures of descop-programs and background: The ialmrnt5-screen driver doesn't work as it should. Please save your work and restart the system to remain normal screen-functionality. Next time you start the system, a dialog-box where you can download information about this problem, be shown. But no box like this is shown. Anyone who know what I can do? I have this feeling I have to upgrade my screen driver, but how do I do that?
No sounds Hmm, I'm not totally sure. But I got some help from my...*cough* younger brother to download a new driver and now it works! But I have no background music or sounds, though....
