Sims 2 Isnt Playing~~!! =( hi i just bought sims 2 and everything installed properly but when i tried to play, it came up with a no latest Directx thingy. so i looked in the internet for hours and re installed directx and looked through this site if it'll solve my problem...but instead, still nothing. im gettin pretty ticked off b/c it cost me like 40 dollars and its for my sister's christmas present...plz help me~ :(
Also note that we don't offer support for people who are trying to run the game from a disc image ... because you bought the game for your sister, right? I say this because the type of error you report is most often associated with CD drive errors. If your DirectX had not been up to date (version 9.0c) the game wouldn't have "installed properly" to start with ....
