sims 2: university troubles hello all erm just wonderin if any of you could help me out as i'm a complete computer retard and your wise wisdom would be muchly appreciated. I have sims2 and 2 expansion packs pets and university pets is running fine but university is giving me much hassle. first it sed insert disc 2 and i hadn't been givin one so i went bk and got the other disc they had forgotten to give me and i assumed it had installed ok but not i click on it and i hear the disc spinning and the logo comes up but then it goes dead and theres nothing. please help x x
Hi cherryred. Did you have Pets already installed before University? The order of installation shouldn't matter with Sims 2 EPs, but Maxis/EA recommend installing in order of release to be on the safe side, so it should be University, Nightlife, OFB, Pets - or in your case, University then Pets. So you installed University disk 1 and the second disk doesn't make the installation continue? Are there any scratches on the disk or is it dirty? You could always return the disk to the place you bought it from and ask if they would exchange it for another one.
