I inserted the disk into my mac and it can't install because it says the disk is "corrupt or incomplete"? i used to have the sims on my laptop so i still have all my saved games etc in files but i don't have it as an application anymore since i formatted my laptop. the disk isn't really scratched either. What else could be the problem?

Is it a Mac version too or do you have the proper software to run a Windows version on your Mac?
(if it were a Windows version that is )

Isn't the TS3 disc good for both Mac and PC?

Okey dokey start by checking the disk itself and make sure it's not gotten scratched or scuffed up to the point where the dvd can't be read by the player.
Also you might try cleaning the laser in the dvd rom to make sure it's not gotten something in there that's preventing it from reading the disk.
