Sims Graphics Problems... My Sims hates me. I swear. No matter what, I can't get high-quality graphics. I can't edit the anti-aliasing setting at all... When I try to click on it, it won't even do anything, it's completely grey versus all the other blue settings... So I'm confused. As well, the clothing I downloaded here won't work in my game. I've downloaded clothing before and I put the clothes in the same folder, no changes and I made sure not to put them in a new folder... they're all together, and only the other clothing I downloaded will work. As a last thing... if you know some free sites that have outstanding hair, make-up, and clothing files other than this site, I would really love it if you'd share them with me. Thanks, and I hope you all don't mind that this is my first post. I just don't know what else to do!
I fixed the clothing problem... still having graphics and hairstyle-finding problems though, I'd appreciate your help. XP
On my game the cut scenes are grayed out. It because my graphics card is not good enough to handle it. I had found a cheat to activate them but when I tried it I just heard the sounds and the screen froze so I am not going to mess with that again. Good luck, I know how frustrating it is when the game isn't working right!!! I have had my fair share of problems.
You need to let us know what kind of graphics card you have in your comp, if your not sure, go to start menu, search, then type in dxdiag, in there find display properties and that will tell you if you have a card that is even capable of anti-aliasing. As for the hair issue, I find the best thing to do is go through the exchange on thesims2.com. It may be a little more time consuming, but you can get some amazing things and it doesnt cost you anything.
