Sims2 makes my entire system unusable! System Specs included. Please help!! Ok...heres my issue. First of all I have all the Sims expansions (except for all the fun stuff packs). When I load them all they are loaded in the order of there release and they all load fine without any error codes or anything. Now before I even go to play them I reboot my machine. From this point forth every time I reboot the computer, Windows runs incredibly slow. To the point where it is unusable. All my icons in the bottom right corner take three times as long to load and anytime I try to access anything, it freezes for a minute or two before it registers that I had clicked on anything. This happens even when I access the task manager using ctrl-alt-delete. It happens also when I go to shut it down. Last time it did this as well but I didnt know at the time that it was the sims 2 that was the problem. I figured I had caught a virus or something. Nothing would fix it so I F-disked my machine. This last time I was able to do a system restore to the day before and it removed the Sims 2 and fixed the problem. Thats all good and dandy but I want to play my Sims!!!! My next step is to install each individually and then check the system out to see if I can pinpoint which expansion may be causing the problem. Any help that anyone could offer would be much appreciated!!! Anna Schutze P.S.
