Skeleton Drums

So here's a quick and messy little music video. I had 4 of my skeleton sims sit down to play the drums and I thought it so funny to watch that I took some videos and added music. It's a very clumsy effort, done in one day, but kind of fun. It's approximately 11 mb, which is a little large, but made using the Microsoft movie maker software, so I hope you can see and hear it OK.

The above link to my video on the EA site is not working at the moment, probably (and I hope) only because the EA site itself is down. I suppose all the kids on Christmas vacation with PETS EP questions have overwhelmed the server.

 

Since EA is not working, I decided to experiment with Youtube and put up a slightly different version of the video here:

However, the quality suffered enormously in that upload. You can't even hear the bass vocals!! But anyway, there it is.

I really shouldn't be too embarrassed about this first attempt at a music video. I looked at a couple of the other Sims2 uploads to youtube. Sheesh. What were they thinking?

 

I've got dialup, darnit. Wish I could view it but it's too slooooowww.

Thanks for trying. The youtube version is pretty awful, anyway, as far as quality of the picture and sound. With dialup, as I remember you have now o,) you'd never get the version I posted over at EA. Oh,well.

The music is from the PC game Anachronox. The music is all MP3 and really neat, although the tunes have no real beginning or end because they're meant to be looped in a video game. The track with the drums always makes me smile, and was a natural to match up with the skeletons.

 

I watched it, awesome Lynet! Love the lightning effects...cool too see that in action other than just on your screen shots. I also loved what you did with the mirrors...very cool.

 

Thanks. I love the lightening. I'm wondering what the Seasons EP will do with lightening. I have some control over the lightening with this hack I got a long time ago. I wonder if Seasons will let you control the weather.

 

I've been wondering that too. I'm curious to know how many sim days each season is going to last as well.

 

I deleted the first version uploaded in the first thread.

Then I uploaded this new and improved version to the EA page. It is, unfortunately, a slighter larger file, so I apologize to those with dialup connections. I really didn't like the way youtube reduced the quality, especially of the music.
