Social interactions in community lots don't work I have a two problems. The first one is more important. I recently added the University Expansion pack to The Sims 2. I never used community lots before I got the expansion pack so I can't say if it's a factor. But: 1) When I have my Sims take other Sims to community lots to hang out, everytime I put a social interaction in queue, it disappears. Even when I just want them to talk. What is the problem? How do I fix this? 2) This problem never happened until I added my own MP3s to the data folder to play while I build and buy. It will work fine for a while, but then, the music (that I added) will skip for a second and then an error will pop up. I'll click "OK" and the game will close. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks!
Hi, I'll have a go at your problems .. 1) Free will is always "on" at community lots and ordering sims a round is a lot tougher to maintain. Many times a social interation will cancel out because it cannot be performed at that time. It might be helpful to know if you have any downloaded items? If you have ever downloaded anything? Some downloads contains hidden hacks that can compromise gameplay ... some hacks antagonise others making all sorts of trouble. 2) Sorry but the glib answer here is to ask: a) What message was on the error pop-up? Was it a Sims game error or a generic Windows error? ... dese t'ings is important, man! b) Is it always the same music track that causes the error? If so why not just remove it? c) Did you try replacing all those music files with fresh copies to see if that fixed the problem?
