Spore not finishing Installation? I just got Spore, today for my birthday... And I went to install it, and it went through all the instructions, etc... Then the "Readme.txt" popped up, and I thought I was ready to play. I went to my desktop, to see if it was there, no. Went to start menu, still nothing. I tried ejecting the disk, and pushing it back in, but now, When I click "Autorun.exe" or whatever, Nothing comes up. Any help? =/
Start/Windows Button > Games Is it there? D Note Spore doesn't depend on the Spore DVD disc to run now.
Do you see a SporeApp.exe under C:\Program Files\Electronic Arts\Spore\Sporebin ? If so, double click it.
Dude; Yeah, it's there, I double clicked it, but It's not coming up. :S I put it in Compatibility mode, with Windows 98/Me, and It's still not coming up. ;o
Uninstall Spore, and then install these drivers. nVIDIA Drivers - Forceware 178.13 Restart, and then attempt to reinstall Spore.
Trying this now! EDIT: Omg. Thank you sooo much! It works. Too bad I don't get to play it before dinner. Tried it for 2 hours. xD
