start all over I have decided that i am going to deltet all the families i have made put all the houses back in the house bin. I was getting bored of the game ( shocking i know) so now i am going to make more new and exciting families. WHAT DO YOU THINK
No not shocking, Kato. I have done something similar myself. I created a new terrain with Sim City and started a new neighborhood to run my own version of a legacy family. I used SimPE to completely eradicate all of the irritating townies. I started a number of large families with a mixture of children, teens and adults and then I started a "legacy" family with my "me" sim. I haven't had much opportunity to play over the Christmas holiday but I am looking forward to getting back to them in a serious way this weekend.
I just recently did the pretty much the same thing. I had to reformat the computer and didn't save the familys so I could start over from scratch. I started a legacy family but am not following ALL the rules, just the basics.
Lol this is exactly what I want to do. I discovered that the modifications I made to my "me" sims I first created makes for ugly babies and adults . Haven't decided if I will use a namesake again. I've been very reluctant to let "myself" age as I don't really want to see myself as an old crone. Lol. Maybe I identify just a little too much with this character Also I like the idea of the legacy challenge, so I might give that a go.
I was having fun with the Legacy Challenge, but now they've become a little boring (I'm on the 4th generation) and so not as much of a challenge. I can't wipe out my sims!!! I'm too emotionally attatched!!! If I did that, how would I ever know if little Kyra Hottie will grow up to seduce Devlin Fosters as I have planned for her? How about poor Napoleon Bonypart? Just how many children in Springer Towne will he father? (Napoleon happens to be Kyra's father, as well as Darla and Napoleon Yokel, Josephine Lynn and Brianna Nicole Bonypart, and one on the way.) Will Jackson Hicks ever find out that his new twins, Heidi and Hanson, were fathered by James Singles and not himself? Will Rico Suave ever get married and have a family, or will he continue to go to parties and pick up the host's flour sacks ad pretend they're babies?
