    Still need BS2?

    Hey everyone.

Since I have The Sims 2, do I really need The Body Shop 2? It's taking up valuable space on my computer. If I uninstall it, would that do anything to the actual game? THanks

You not only don't need it, there are some glitches that can appear when you don't uninstall it.

After you've uninstalled it go to Start>Programs>EA GAMES>The Sims 2>The Sims 2 Body Shop and click on The Sims 2 BodyShop. It will install the new one.

And don't try to put the starter packs from the downloaded one in the downloads file. It isn't necessary (as all the meshes from the starter packs are in the game already) and actually causes the "baby blooper" problem. (The baby with the whole baby body picture on its face.)

So, have fun with the new one. It really is much better. You can change the background images (so that it isn't just the greyed shelving), use different mannikins (like ones with real skin tones instead of grey) and there are more ways for the mannikins to move. And of course, lots more meshes to play with.
