    Stuff flashing blue

i just was on probably my first downloading spree for sims 2 so i got like cool houses and stuff, i mustve over-did it because some of my stuff was flashing blue. like i tried out a new house and some of the stuff flashes blue. I dont know whats going on, maybe i downloaded too much stuff idk. So if someone could throw me a bone here, its been cheesing me off. If no one knows what to do i'll just disable all custom content because its just slowing down my CPU too.

And im pretty sure there isnt a thread on this, i searched it and there were no matchs so sorry for any repeats. And this might be in the wrong place, 'how do i' is just my favourite one i go to.

I think you might need the CEP, or the Color Enabler Package. It's found at MTS2: http://modthesims2.com/showthread.php?t=92541

This problem basically occurs when people have a download that requires the CEP for it to work correctly. Try that and see if it works.

Some of my sims' jewelry started doing that after I installed Pets. I thought I had the latest CEP, too.

I just don't use that jewelry anymore. And so far it hasn't affected anything except those pieces of jewelry.
