    Swapping Music

I want to put my own music into the game. I know it's possible, but I also know my music files are all realplayer files. I've copied a couple songs over to the Maxis music file with no result. I even moved the resident file to a anotehr folder elsewhere on my computer leaving just the copied music behind. The radio still played the simlish music. I'm now assuming that my music files are not mp3s. How would I go about changing than over to mp3 format?

Search the internet for mp3 converter; there are loads of free ones out there.

Note. It might be the case that the simplest (and cheapest) option is to play each track all the way through re-recording it with an mp3 recorder such as this one
