Switch Failure - dist01.chi01 Today we had a switch failure, dist01.chi01, which is a distribution layer switch. There would have been various issues on many servers in chi01 as routes failed over, etc., but it seems for the most part that everything failed over properly. The primary issue that occurred though was that this brought down our shared hosting VLAN, which contained the DNS resolvers used by our network. In addition, any members directly connected to the switch would have been affected, and would have experienced downtime as we needed to run cables to different switches, etc. All issues should be resolved at this point, or we are in direct communication with you currently to resolve such issues.
