The intro to spore (and menu screen)? Think it'll probably be like the website. That'd be quite cool i think, i always like watching the intro once before playing a game
Yeah, my best guess is that it'll likely be similar to the website intro. Though probably with actual stuff from the game .
I dunno... I think they could've actually gotten away with using the website's intro as the actual gameplay, if they didnt use it for the website. Now they have to think up something new, haha. I agree, it will probably be something along the lines of the website intro, only cooler. As far as the main menu... I think it will look much like the sims 2 main menu. I think there will be an area that shows all the different galaxies you currently have in progress, plus a place to start a new galaxy. Probably also a button to update your content in a corner or something.
Upload Button? I doubt there would be an upload button since Will said it would all be transparent to the player... Perhaps a download search or something so people can get their friends' creatures, but the uploading is(as stated, so might change, who knows) transparent... Also, instead of galaxies I believe it may show a picture of your creature or your home planet (with a creature) so you can tell your game apart from your siblings/roommates/friends... Just my thoughts... :spin:
...that's exactly what I just said. I didnt mean the update would upload your stuff, I meant it would download the latest files and stuff like that, since downloads are up to the player. As for the galaxies, I meant a link to the save file, not an actual picture of the entire galaxy. That's just silly.
worlds i think it would be cool if you visited a galaxy that the worlds would work like a libararey: say you friend has these spider roach things and he wants you to see them so he gives you the name of his planet and the cordinates, so you go visit and your UFO scans the planet giving you information of the terrain and the animals and creatures. Kind of like how scientists classify new animals.
I think the ideal intro screen qould involve violently strobing lights that flash until the player starts having siezures, blacks out, and hits a specific key combination with their forehead. ...wouldn't that be fun?
More stuff about the game would be good, but they have alot to do yet, and top priority is probably the game itself and not the site.
Only if the key combination turns you into a Freakazoid. *wonders how many people will actually understand that* I do have to concur with the census thus far, though. It'll probably be similar to the website intro, only using Spore's graphical abilities for it.

I was thinking they'd have it with some timpani or something and some of those bacteria-fellers swimmin' around on the menu...with a "New Galaxy" "Load Galaxy" "Settings" sorta get-go on it...
