The Sims 2 next ep should be online! If the The sims 2 was online it would be soo awesome. whats ur opinion?
JMP can be a little grim sometimes. I've never played any game on line. Isn't there a monthly fee for something like that?
I don't want other people being able to invade my game, or my computer. It's mine, mine, my precious, all mine ...
Didn't The Sims 1 Online bomb? -_- I already have enough entertainment with my game offline. What on Earth could I possibly do with it online?
not online... but I would like something with more architectural stuff... Maxis should have a contest for the best that people can design.
OH Yeah The Sims Online bombed big time! It seemed to jump out of the box looking good just before it burst into flames and dove into the trashcan. I've read interviews with Maxoids where someone would mention TSO and you could tell the Maxoid really wanted to change the subject fast. Ruth
If they make another Online form of the Sims, it wouldn't be as an EP. It would be a standalone game like they did for Sims Online vs The Sims (original.) Frankly, that sort of thing never interests me. I like TS2 because it's not a competitive game and because nothing happens in my game which is not brought in specifically by me. Once things go online, it becomes competitive and/or has changes that occur during gameplay that I may not want for my Sims. But that wouldn't make me say "no, they can't make an online game because I don't like it." If they think it would be financially viable (unlike TSO was), then I don't see why others can't have it.
It bombed bigtime. People complained that they had to be there all the time "skilling" and the rest of the time it became like an expensive version of a chat room. (Even without my biases against online games, it sounded like something unappealing.)
That's because this is how The Sims essentially plays. You spend most of your time skilling up your sims so they can do the various things that they need skills to do. It's not so bad.... Except online, you can't hit 3. Think about where your hand is when you play. Now imagine those buttons don't work. You're stuck in 1. Forever. Also, you only get one sim.
