The sims 2 university dowloads problem I just installed the sims 2 university and I have had to delete and download the game again twice because of the dowloads I put into the game I think. When I turn the game on everything is fine until it gets to the end of the loading screen then it just quits. with no notice or any reason. I took my downloads folder out and started it again and the game worked fine. But I want to use all of the things I downloaded on my game. Does anyone have any ideas?
Try this: Make a new downloads folder under My Documents/etc., and move your downloads back into the game a few at a time, playing the game for a few minutes after each group, to make sure it's working OK. Play with one of the Maxis game families that you don't care about so much. I'd suggest moving the simplest downloads first, for example, the recolors of walls and floors, clothes and hair, etc., that don't have meshes. Then move on to those that have meshes. Eventually you should get to the item or hack that is causing the problem.
