The Sims 2 Won't install on Windows Vista! Please Help ASAP! i really need some help installing the Sims 2 on Windows Vista. Loading Disk one is fine, then at disk 2 at around 40%, this error message comes up: A problem occured when trying to transfer the file 'TSData\Res\Sims3D\Sims03.package' Do you want to retry to copy the file, or cancel installation? I kept clicking on retry and the progress percentage went up so i thought if i kept doing that then it might go away and be normal again. But now it has just stopped at 100% and nothing is happening just that error message keeps coming up! HELP PLEASE! thanks
You don't need to PM me for help, I check every thread on here. Follow the steps here http://www.ehow.com/how_2003545_sims2-manual-install.html to see if that helps. If not, ensure the disk is clean and not scratched and try installing it on another computer. Has this CD ever been used to install TS2, and did it work correctly then?
