The Sims 3 Crashes!! It sounds like a lot of people are having the same problem as me. I just installed the game today, and already the game crashes after about 30 seconds of gameplay. It's extremely irritating, and it sounds like the problem is probably specific to my computer. Please help, I'm going through withdrawals!! (that's a joke. mostly)
..and when I say crash, I mean after everything is loaded and I start playing, it exits to the desktop quite quickly, without any messages, alerts, or pop-ups.
Taybaby is this a laptop by chance? If it is go to Toshiba's website and download the latest graphics driver's for your laptop and try those. You might also try turning off Aero if you're running it and see if it helps also. If you don't know how to turn off Aero just Google "turning off Aero " and it will give quite a few links on how to do it.
