TheSims2PetsHelp About two weeks ago, i bought The Sims 2 Pets for Mac, as i am on a 2 GHz Intel Core Duo iMac. It installed perfectly. And i have all otherr expansion packs up to Pets (University.Nightlife.Business). The first time i went on it, it worked perfectly. But, when i went on it again there was something wrong. My 'Create-A-Sim didn't work. The Sims/Pets stood at the back of the room you make them in, and it kept rotating around the whole lot? So, i went onto a pre made family, and something esle was wrong. Those messages you get, (i cant think what you call them) that say 'Error Occured' and then you have the three options, 'Cancel. Reset. Delete.' i clicked on cancel and it kept popping up again. So i clicked reset and it didnt work. The only way to get rid of it was delete. And it popped up for every Sim/Pet i had, until there was none left. And this happens every time i attempt to go on it, every time i go on a family, or 'Create-A-Sim'. Is there a patch i can download? Is this a problem known by asypyr? If there is a patch, where do i put it? Can anyone help me ? Please ?
I have no idea about Macs whatsoever. But in the Windows version you only get these messages only if testincheatsenabled is set to true (the so called debug-mode) Sims/Pets you delete, re-appear the next start of the game at the mailbox. But your goal should be to find out what causes the conflicts in the first place. Did you install any incompatible hack? (what works in windows doesn't necessarily work on Macs, you know Just for fun: move the complete Download Folder to a different location, so that the game starts without any external content and check if the behaviour changes -le
