Throwing Parties... I wanted to know how do I throw parties with more than 2 people. I used the cheat intprop maxNumOfVisitingSims8, but it didn't work...do I have the wrong cheat?
I tried different combinations since it wasn't working. I tried intprop maxnumofvisitingsims 8....intpropmaxnumofvisitingsims 8,....intprop maxnumofvisitingsims8....and none of them seemed to work....i will try again, but i dunnno..
Can your computer handle more than 2 people. Sometimes the computer will over-ride how many you want because it can't handle more. Also, you may want to check to make sure that you don't have stuck service people on your lot. I've heard that that can decrease the number of people who can attend the parties, because the game counts them as people already at the party.
Well i think that my comp can handle more than two people. I mean I have a lot with 6 people as a family, but the lot i'm trying to have more than 2 people invited only has 3 people on it. So I don't know...do I have the right cheat?...
Good point Michelle. Only friends who like the inviter are likley to trun up and they aren't likley to come again if the sim has a record of throwing lousy parties. Keep having rotten parties and no-one will come at all!
instead of the cheatcode, you could just throw a party..invite 2 people then just call and invite however many else you want, but the cheatcode is better. doesnt matter really.
easy way to invite a lot of people I get all set up for the party (buffet, wine, etc., turn on the music and lights), then I call every friend I have. Most will come if they're not working, some will bring an extra person. Then if you have an outdoor party, you can stop every person walking by for a chat, and they will probably join as well. Sometimes they stay for hours. No cheating!
Okay, I didn't see this mentioned, but when did you enter the cheat-code. I believe that one only works if you enter it while your game is on the "Neighborhood" screen.
