town menu screen... It seems that all the default towns have a movie, but homemade towns have a plane old snapshot of an empty land. Is there a way of replacing the image for a movie, or another image!? much appreciated P.S check out ma site, http://www.geocities.com/christopher_warters
I suspect it's possible. However, the only instructions I've seen is how to use a snapshot of your neighborhood to replace the .png. (Specific instructions as to size and format are given for that.) In looking at the contents of the neighborhood file, comparing my custom neighborhoods to the Maxis neighborhoods, there is no file available to replace. It may be "hardwired" into the neighborhood.package file. In that case you'd need to use something like SimPE to do it. But like I've said, I've seen no instructions or tutorials for adding a movie instead of the .png snapshot.
