Hi. So, here's the deal. I insert the disc into my laptop, and I expect like a dumbass that the expansion for Sims 3 is going to install smoothly but NO. It says: "For this product you have to install The Sims 3, install The Sims 3 before you install this product". But I already have The Sims 3 installed. Also, the game is not up-to-date.
you need to update if you haven't then. Start the game up and check the version number down in the left hand corner and go over to www.simprograms.com and look for the patch(es) you need if you do not use the EADM. You may need to update that to get it to update your game.
