TV Dinner Inventor Dies Aged 83

Meanwhile ... spare a thought for dear old Gerry Thomas who has gone to that great freezer in the sky http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/americas/4703523.stm

Who'd have thought that 270 tonnes of turkey could last so long  (And what will our sims do for a quick hot meal when it finally runs out?)

(Waits for Pescado to pour cold water upon my sim-culinary economics because I suspect that a TV dinner is both less filling and more expensive than a bowl of mac and cheese)

Reminds me when the lady who invented the couch fold out bed died, Tina Fey said on saturday night live:
(Not exactly sure about the last few words, but it gets the point across :p )

I have TV dinners, cereal and chef salads when my sims aren't very hungry. Plus, finally there is something to go into the trash compactor. I don't my sims to gt any fatter than they are. Anyway, what's the guy's name? And why do they call it a TV dinner when you can't even eat it in front of the tv in TS2?

I think he said Gerry Thomas..

Dunno. Maybe because it's frozen, microwavable and not very healthy. That'd be my guess.

My daughter insists on eating her TV dinners in front of the TV, even though we normally do not play TV or even music during dinner, since it's family time. She's very cute, and very insistent that it is not really a TV dinner otherwise.
