I think by "cruise" they actually mean "chill out". But yeh, your hypothesis could equally be correct. I just don't think it necessary definately means we can drive yet

well I heard that you can go to commuinal areas in this game, i dont know what areas will be available but.. i know you can have like a vacation home and a regular home... and I heard you can go places.

 

So my sims will be able to drive? YES!

just becuz it says cruise, does not mean u can drive, simple basis
