ugh! help! OK well i got the Sims 2 today and ive been trying to get it to work all day!! ive seen a lot of ppl post about this but everything ive tried hasnt worked.. i get the error message "failed to find any DirectX 9.0c compatible graphics adapters in this system! Please make sure you have a DirectX 9.0 compatible graphics adapter and have installed the latest drivers provided by the manufacturer. The application will now terminate" ..ive tried re-downloaded the DirectX 9.0c and ive downloaded geforce 2 and Inted Extreme Graphics.. nothing has worked.. does anybody know how to fix this?
it looks like you are trying to install two different brands of graphics drivers. if you do not know your graphics manufacturer or chipset, check this thread http://forums.worldsims.org/showthread.php?t=2874 which will assist you in upgrading drivers and installing directx so hopefully you will be able to play the sims 2!
