Ugly Children How excited I was when little Millies 1st Birthday approached, only to discover how utterly disgusting and ugly she looked. Her parents arnt ugly at all, but for some reason she looks like a monster. With a piggish nose, a huge jaw and plump cheeks, I was utterly dissapointed in my monsterous creation. Is this a problem that occurs often with children or is my sim child just a freak of nature? And will she grow out of it? Will she be a better looking teen or adult?
Most of the children my sims have on the game are also freaks of nature, or simply look identical to eachother (even though they're not related). A couple of them were thankfully just in an ugly-duckling phase, but a couple were scarred for life. With your having facial features like that it may be a gamble.
Yep, toddlerhood is not a good measure for how they'll look as older sims. They all look a little freakish, though I've had a couple that were cute. I've also had ugly kids turn out to be hotties as adults, and vice versa, so you just never know.
what have looks gotta have a lot of importantance? Everyone is human..beautiful in their own way. I always think child sims..babies i mean they loook all alike. But parents arent always the case LOL!
Yes, all of the babies in the game are identical. Once they become toddlers their true colors are shown.
i once had these set of twins, boy and girl, and the girl was gorgous (spelling?) she was perfect but then i tryed that boolprop cheat and was playing around with it seeing what everything did and i accidently deleted her! and i couldnt just not save it becase i had done so much so shes gone now... forever... lol
Gosh, I hope not. Joe's kid Simone is looking kind of goofy. I'm crossing my fingers for teenagerhood. Her mother's looks improved considerably at that point, although she never really shook the close resemblance to her father, Errol. The thing is, I really, really liked the way Errol looked. That hound dog look, you know, just makes me feel warm and fuzzy all over. Doesn't work too well on a woman's face, though.
For the future so you know; if you delete a character save your game. Next time you go back into that house that sim will be standing next to the mailbox.
I've had one adult, freshly-graduated Sim leave his fiancee's lot as soon as I moved him in, for no apparent reason, and no amount of calling him over or trying to block his path would make him stay. As he kept doing it when I reloaded without saving, I decided to gamble and save the lot, to see if he stayed, and when I went back in he was there. I've since lost the entire family due to a powercut when I was playing them, though :( ETA: What is it with all the (female, anyway) Sims having the same hairstyle when they reach childhood?? I've not noticed it so much with the boys, mainly because most of my kids seem to be girls, but it's probably the same with them too.
Well, you do have to be very careful with Boolprop. I don't know if you could get her back somehow using SimPE? She may still be knocking around on your hard drive, if you looked with SimPE maybe you might be able to find her again?
Well, atleast im not alone. I know looks dont really matter, but I was just dissapointed how ugly this child was. My sims still loved it, but i shuddered at the site of its boated cheeks and piggish nose.
And this is one of the wonderful things about this game. Sims love each other, regardless of looks, beautiful or ugly. They can ignore what their creators want them to do, too. I've created sims with the intent that they hate each other, only to find that, when I wasn't looking, they'd fallen in love. I think it's just great. Of course, you also get some who pick a fight and make trouble every chance they get. But the shape of the face has nothing to do with it, either way.
Hmm....sorry to be a newsance again LOL..but what does boolprop actually do? How would you have to type that in inside the cheat box...like could someone tell me exactly how it has to be typed in? tanks gorgeous.hehe.
Sims2, I think that the nature of all of your questions here, including the ones that you posted today about using the mirror, or getting a cash register for your home business (till) tell me that using the boolprop cheat is not for you. If you do a search of the forums in Worldsims and are able to read through all the discussions about the boolprop cheat, and understand them, then I could be mistaken about your level of experience. But I don't think so. That's my very seriously considered recommendation to you.
Hmm i have actually typed in exactly what i read about this cheat over the internet..however....i just wanted to know like any other simple question...because ur not going to read it up any clearer than on the internet.i might just be making a slight mistake when typing it in..thats what i wanted to know
I'm agreeing with Lynet that you should not be using boolprop. It seems like your skills of the game are not developed enough to be messing with a testing cheat such as this one. I'm not going to tell you how to type it in for that reason. Sorry to be mean, but Sims2 we have told you time and time again that you need to: 1. read the booklet that game with your game to answer any questions you might have. and 2. Do a search of the forums FIRST if you have questions. So many of your questions have been posted before by others or at least discussed here. If you want to find out how to type it in you can do a search of this forum, but I for one will not assist you because I seriously think you're not advanced enough to play with that cheat yet. We're saying that for your own good so you don't ruin your game.
I have to third that sentiment. As far as I know, even the experienced gamers on this site avoid that cheat unless they REALLY know what they are doing, even then they use extreme caution with it. I have been faithfully playing this game since it came out, I know a lot of tricks to it and I still avoid using the boolprop cheats.
