    It will be interesting to see what happens.

    I was reading somewhere how many lives would have been saved if this had been done 2 weeks ago (and how many more would die if they waited another 2 weeks.) Very sad situation.

    It's sad it's taken this long, but at the same time it feels a lot like international politics and trying to get some reassurance from China and Russia to not Veto the No-Fly Zone was more important. It probably took several "cables" to go back and forth to their respective governments to ensure that certain objections were voiced and that proper negotiations were done before the Security Council convened.

    But definitely, I wish it was faster. It may have possibly saved countless lives.

    I read this morning that Gaddafi had invited news reporters to his compound as a way of "shielding" himself from shelling.

    Apparently they raped one of the female reporters.
    Hopefully they'll find him and blow him back to Allah!

    I hadn't heard about that.

    I did read an article where the reporters who went were denying that they were being used as shields. But how could they be so blind to that idea?
