Univ: Academic Probation I just started playing the Sims 2 (yesterday) and installed the expansion pack almost instantly after 10 min creating a house that I couldn't afford to move into. I have a question, my sim (I only control 1 at the moment) is living in a dorm and seems to keep getting put on academic probation, yet, I get pop-up balloons telling me she doesn't need to do any assignments or research because her meter is full. I looked at her meter and it's in the red. She can't seem to pass a semester, even though I make sure she studies all the time and writes term papers. What am I doing wrong?
Yes, she goes on her own. Sometimes I send her to class if I catch the pop-balloon on a slow speed. Usually, I run on medium speed. So, she sends herself and goes each day. She's never missed a class or a final.
Depending on the major, your sim will have to build 3 skills in order to have the potential of filling the bar. Look at her skills, the ones that are outlined with blue are the ones that she has to work on. only if these outlined ones are filled in will your sim be able to get a 4.0 gpa... if only I could get that in real life by going to class and doing assignments .
