university install wrecked my game I've tried this repeatedly, and looked up many sites for help. But I can't find anything specific enough My Sims 2 game worked fine until I decided to install Uni. First it would uninstall before it got to "Insert Disc 4" and so I deleted the patch I'd put on Sims 2. Then I got to "Insert Disc 4" but unistall straight after. Then I found I couldn't open the Sims 2 any more. It just comes up with a red circle with an x in it. I had to back up my game, reinstall Sims 2, and when I tried to put my backup back in, it stuffed up again. Finally, after much research and 3 deletes and re-installs, as well as deleting all my old game (which was sad!) I managed to reinstall it. Today I made the mistake of trying to install Uni again, and it uninstalled itself, then locked me out of my Sims 2 game. What on earth is going on?
