Unused CD is not recognised. I am somewhat ignorant in regards to the technical side of computers so forgive me if I do not use the correct jargon. I downloaded a manuscript which was written on a CD. Having edited the manuscript and adding illustrations I attempted to copy it onto a fresh disc. When I inserted the disc it made a humming sound for about ten seconds and then I received a message that said PLEASE INSERT DISC. Besides this I am told that the files are READ ONLY. Could someone please advise me. Cheers Arthur
