Urgent help! So i just recently bought Sims 2 seasons, and i had to buy an external dvd rom for my computer because it was only compatible with DVD it was all going well untill i saw the first problem , some of my sims ahd be renamed liek boys with girls names etc also it did not have any of my custom furniture doe sanyone know how to help?
Not sure about the name changes, but when you install a new expansion pack, it disables custom content. Check your options in game and click the "Enable Custom Content" button for your custom furniture to appear.
i clicked enable custom content and still no luck.. but the thing is it lets me have custom bed covers and things like that im really confused .. when you download the seasons patch what does it eman by save to disk? Becasue if im able to download the patch maybe it will solve my problem can any help me with downloading patches
One of the things that's hard about the "enable custom content" is that you have to exit the game and reload the whole thing. You can't "enable" then go to the game to see if it works. (It doesn't work until the next time you start up the game.)
You can just download the patch (don't really need to save it) just be sure that once it is downloaded, click on the "Run" button to start the installation process.
