We Should Be Able To Rewind... I think we should be able to rewind... I mean we can pause and fastforward. I just think it's sensible to let us rewind. Like when I'm trying to make a movie but I screw up, it sucks because I have to start all over from when I last saved! Like this one time I tried to catch my sim's First Kiss on tape but i missed it! what do you think?
Haha, I kinda like that idea But I think the reason behind not having one is so the user can't alter history..
Maybe.... Rewinding kinda defeats the purpose of the game. Like if somone dies you'd just rewind ,instead of letting paranormal things happen. If we could rewind, everyone's life would be the same. Simple ,boring and we'd get sick of the game. I suppose rewinding would be OK, if it was ONLY while filming a movie. For a set amount of time, and then you would hasve to save before rewinding again.
I know what you mean about sometimes missing things. I've sometimes wished I had at least an "instant replay" option. However, it would be too computer-use-intensive to work as it would mean essentially keeping a movie maker running all the time. If you check how much computer usage even making a short movie causes, you'd understand why it's not going to be possible to have something like this until home computers are a lot better than they are right now. (Shoot, most of the people can't get all the features that TS2 *can* do right now. There's no way even the godgamingmachine computers of today would be able to handle "instant replay" ability.)
yeah, rewind would be cool. But i think the only way it would work would be if it were just for viewing purposes. like, you can't play until it gets back to the present, so that history can't be changed.
History doesn't always repeat itself. Yeah, there have been a few times I wished I could flashback 10-20 seconds just to snap an important screenshot. But then its gone and that's it, back tro playing. Honestly, my albums are way less populated than they should be. I get so wrapped up in playing the Sims I forget to record their important events.
