Wedding Party Problem I don't know if this is something wrong with my game or if it's normal , but I only get to invite 2 guests when i throw a wedding party...And come one ..2 people? That's not even a party. Does anyone know how to get more guests to come? Thanks a lot!
TS2 is only letting you invite two sims over because it thinks your computer can't handle anymore. (With some of the computers people are trying to make the game run on, it's probably right too.) There is a cheat that allows more sims to be invited but I've never used it and don't remember it.
You have to invite everyone else over separately. That's what I do. I had a golden anniversary party with sixteen guests, and it was quite the feat to organize, but I did it. Just start calling 'em right away after you invite the initial two guests, not before. Once you get the hang of things you can move it from disaster to good time pretty quickly. It helps if you invite people who are in love with, or at least friends with, each other. They'll interact automatically.
It's your graphics card. If you install a better graphics card, you should be able to invite more sims over. The cheat is "MaxNumOfVisitingSims #" # can stand for anywhere from 2-8 safely. I know that it must be entered on the neighborhood screen. I also know that I'm forgetting something, like a "boolprop" infront of it, but can't recall for sure. Since my computer is also older, I found an easier way. I downloaded Inge Jones's teleporter from www.similogical.com I have the painting. There's a bush, too, but I like the painting better. Word of warning: There is a reason that you can't invite over 50 people. It will cause your game to grind to a halt because your computer can't handle the strain. I once did a wedding and invited everyone in the neighborhood over, and it was torture!! Everyone moved in slow motion and from time to time would stop all together as the computer would freeze up for a second, then start chugging again. Since then I have tried to use more restraint when I start teleporting sims onto the lot.
