Hi lilmidge, do you mean downloading from the internet or installing from CDs?

Can you explain the problem in more detail please?

University and Nightlife are the only expansions with more than 1 disc.

You need to make sure your laptop can read DVDs though before buying the other expansion packs as these are on DVD, except Open For Business which is on one classic CD.

All the stuff packs, and OFB are all with only one disk.. but I think it would be worth your while to look into why your laptop won't accept more than one disk expansions! :D That is not a very common problem (I have never heard of it happening before), and it might not be your laptop making the error

You could solve the problem by buying the expansions on disk. You can order them online and receive them in a day or two.

That way if something crashes you'll be able to easily reinstall.

lil midge, I assume you are in Britland. Seasons and Pets were both sold in DVD format (1 disc) by large stores such as Asda. Where did you buy your Seasons and Pets expansions? Why did you choose CD format as opposed to DVD?

What is your laptop equipped with?

See question 2 of the FAQs and send us a dxdiag report as well.

We can help you, but only if you, at least try, to help yourself.
