What to do while Sims 3 is in development? What are you doing to make the time pass while waiting for The Sims 3 to be released?
Play other games as I doubt I'll end up getting it, Sacred 2 , Sims2 and Spore are all kinda demanding attention at the moment. I'll wait and listen to moans,groans and general whining about Sims3 first before I decide what I'm gonna do.
Not trying to start a rumor but have you heard any thing about the possibility of a delayed release? I've heard from some of the ones invited to the camp that the game was pretty buggy still and needed more work before being released. Ruth
I say (like I always say concerning these things) to wait and make the game the right way instead of rushing it out the door and doing a screwed up job on it.
Personally I wouldn't mind so much if the release date was pushed back. For one thing I'm not even sure I'll be able to get the game because they may require an internet connection. I don't look forward to seeing all these posts about how much better it is then TS2 that I'm stuck playing. LOL But on the chance that they won't require an internet connection I would like more time to either upgrade my computer or buy a new one. I think the video card in my old computer is on the list of approved cards but I would need to update the drivers when I move it to my current computer. Which would be awesome. In a way that would be a free upgrade and I like free! Ruth
Games are often quite buggy when they are still a few weeks from release. That's when they're doing their major debugging jobs. I'm sure that the Creator Camp gave them a new list of things to do before it goes to the manufacturer.
Probably a whole lot more than a list.. I know several people were cranking out bugs like mad. (padre in particular)
