What we all know but never really think about http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/health/5120662.stm I have often wondered how a baby or cat or a bird without the benefit of a minute's worth of biology lessons knows about eyes. We're all born knowing that eye-contact is significant - either dangerous or beneficial but never to be ignored. Freaky. I often wonder how much else we are born with that we either forget or ignore but which might actually be useful ... like making us all easier to get along with, without all the angst and aggro and posturing and blood and tears. Just a philosophical thought of a Wednesday while I wait in for the cable man to come fix my broken TV connection.
