whats wrong with this game?? i need help...when i go to play the sims 2, the autorun does not work so i go and click on it under the programs and then the lil screen comes up saying The Sims 2, but then a message comes up saying cannot locate CD, please insert the correct CD and press ok, even though i have disk 1 in there (and i even tried all the other disks just to make sure) so ive been making emails and researching and going to help on my computer but nothing is working. I think it may be a problem with the drive. But anyways I unistalled the program but then i go to install it again and i cant find anything that will let me install it. I click on run and drive D but it says please insert a disk into drive D. so i click on drive C and setup and it comes to this page with a bunch of folders but no setup folders or anything...so now i cant even install it. I dont know what is wrong with it because i installed a program yesterday just fine
Open My Computer Right Click on your CD drive letter and look for an option to disable "DLA" which is a sort of feature provided by the likes of Sonic for burning CDs. It's not absolutely necessary and many game copyright doodads seem to have trouble with it. Let us know if that doesn't work ...
