    Wierd Photo Album Problems...

Everytime I take photos of any sims2 families, only 2 (the last 2 taken to be exact) show up in the storytelling folder...I dont understand why its doing this...is there any other solution rather than reinstalling all the games?:confused:

oh but I should probably say that all the photos do show up in the story mode of the GAME but not in that folder out of the game...

There's a storytelling folder for each one of the neighborhoods. Have you looked there? My Documents/EA GAME/The Sims 2/Neighborhoods/N00x/Storytelling?

We posted at the same time when I was editing to add the path. Go take a look now. :)

No, I tried that and it said that the path was invalid (and yes I changed the x to 1) I even uninstalled all my games and reinstalled everything, and still Im having that photo album trouble... its only loading two of the photos of five photos that I take into the storytelling album...I dont know what else to do to fix this

I'm not sure I understand what you mean by changing the x to 1, or why you got an error message.

    N001 is Pleasantview
    N002 is Strangetown
    N003 is Veronaville
higher numbers are given for custom neighborhoods.

If we're both talking about the PC version of Sims2 then you get to the pictures by way of the Start button...

Left-click on your Start button (the one on your Windows taskbar,) left-click on My Documents, (double) left-click on the EA Games folder, (double) left-click on The Sims 2 folder, repeat doubleclick on Neighborhoods, then on one of the above folders (Pleasantview, perhaps, if that's where you took pictures), then on the Storytelling folder. The storytelling folder has different views of the contents, either just a list of the file names or thumbnails of the pictures taken, depending on the view you've selected in the toolbar.

Sorry if I sound patronizing. So many, many people play the game who've never used a computer for anything else before. And I just wanted to be sure you were taking the same road that I'm taking to get to the pictures.

Mirelly gives a little more detail than this in her post here: http://forums.worldsims.org/showpost.php?p=104360&postcount=44

You shouldn't have to uninstall and reinstall your game. :( Try taking some more pictures and see if you can find them now. You should at least be finding the Maxis photos that came with the game.

Thanks for the tip about the Neighbourhood folders. I was having the same problem, but I had only looked in the main storytelling folder. Now I have found those funny screenshots, I will post them in the random screenshot thread lol. :D

hey lynet, thanks a lot...I actually found the storytelling folder in each of the neighborhoods, I did change the x to number 1 cause I knew it was pleasantview, but for some reason the address wouldnt take me directly there...but then when you wrote it out like that, I did it directly..and voila! there they were ^_________^ so once again, thanks so much.

    =)
