    Windows cannot acess specific device...

All hardware exceeds requirements. I installed just fine but when I click on the icon, I get the message: Windows cannot access specified device, path or file. You may not have appropriate permission to access the item.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks

You must have the most recent CD in the drive for the game to work. (I have the DVD version, so I can't tell you if it's the first CD or the 4th CD of the basegame you put in.)

If you have any expansion packs or stuff packs (except Holiday), you need to put in disc 1 from the most recently installed pack.

The game does this to prevent software piracy. In fact, it's software piracy to try to get around doing that. (Posts asking for that sort of information are removed and the person banned from this site. Same thing if you ask on the official site.)
