Your Opinions Needed: Peacoats I broke down and bought a peacoat because, well, I love them. However, here's the dilemma: I don't know whether to pop the collar or not, and there doesn't seem to be any standard protocol for doing so on the internet. So, I turn to you. Which do you think looks nicer on me--a popped collar, or a collar left to lay flat? And does this hat go with the coat without making me look... unnecessarily older? All of these will open larger when clicked.
I like the flat collar with the hat. Makes you look sophisticated! And older, but not OLD...if you know what I mean.
It almost makes you look Irish John! Maybe too many movies where I seen Iirish people wearing something like that. When you said hat I was thinking like a fedora or something. I said collar down and hat myself.
