Gigabyte Open Overclocking Competition 2010 Begins

Los Angeles, CA – August 7, 2010 – On a cold, brisk, gloomy Saturday morning, the stage has been set for the third annual Gigabyte Open Overclocking Competition at the Pacific Palms Hotel and Resort in City of Industry, CA. Newcomer Duex joins the league of overclocking legends 3oh6, Buckeye, FUGGER, G H Z, Gautam, Gomeler, mikeguava, rdrash, ROSS, sno.lcn, Vapor dueling for two spots to represent North America in the Gigabyte Open Overclocking Competition Global Finals in Taiwan.

Contestants have been given two hours to setup and prepare for the duel. At 1PM Pacific Time, contestants will begin Round 1: Pi Fast & Wprime 32M, followed by  Round 2: Super PI 8M & MAXMEM ( Memory Reading MB/s) at 3:20PM.
