Square Enix recently released its lineup for this year’s E3, with the highly anticipated Final Fantasy Versus XIII missing from the list. First announced in 2006, news about the latest Final Fantasy title has been minimal. Since then, Final Fantasy XIII and Final Fantasy XIII-2 were announced and released, with Versus XIII still far from completion. Tetsuya Nomura, the game’s director, requests fans to remain patient about the game’s development, as delays have prevented the project from progressing in the past. With no Final Fantasy title coming to E3, fans will have to wait until possibly the next Tokyo Game Show for any updates on this long-awaited project.
