yeah where do downloads go help please i have been downloading alot and cannot find them

 

I think you need to elaborate more on what you're having trouble with...

 

First you need to check where you're saving your downloads...preferably you should save them to the desktop...then you move your downloads into your Downloads folder in your EA Games folder...

 

Where have you been unzipping them to? You need to save the zipped file and unzip the file into My Documents/EA Games/The Sims 2/Downloads. (Did I type that right?)

Oh, things for buildings and stuff! I think you need HomeCrafter Plus to install those. Yeah, you have to install them or they won't show up in the game.

 

Homecrafter comes with the game.

To install downloads you need the CEP program.

The Sim File Maid program makes installation a snap. There are links on other threads to these programs.

 

I had to download Home Crafter. I forget where I downloaded it from, though

 

I unzip my files by right-clicking the folder, and selecting "Extract All...". Then I just follow the onscreen instructions. It's pretty fast. Also, I had trouble finding the CEP.
