having a problem with the entire downloads here

    hi and hello

first off i'd like to say, sorry, i know this is offtopic, however i found that the help forums don't get as much attention as this one, but i suppose if it really bothers people, mods are going to move this soon

my problem is that none of the downloads on this page work for me. i have downloaded skins and such from other pages already as well and the majority of them worked, so i suppose i put it in the right folder. i also tried to empty the folder and put just one in it, but nothing.

is there anyone who might be able to help me? anyone who had a similar problem? (puhlease!)

    thanks in advance

"Hello, I know what I'm doing is wrong, but help me anyway" Not the best way to get help, you know.

Hmmm, let me address this in two parts.
    1. Are the files you downloaded .package or .Sims2Pack? If they are Sims2Pack there is another step involved. You must click on the icon and let the unpacker install the content.
    2. This has been address here and in help about a bajillion times. Please use [SEARCH] to find much needed answers.

Desperation takes many ways. Your help forums haven't done much more service to me either.

    1. .package of course, i might seem like an idiot to you, but i am in fact not
    2. weeeeeell, i couldn't find the help i needed, so maybe instead of posting this waste of space, you could just point me into the right direction? :)

Please be careful about your attitude. This is a small forum. You won't get immediate responses because the people who could respond might not be here for a while or might be busy on another part of the forum.

Actually, I noticed that your question in the correct forum seems to be not only getting help but in your own language. That's pretty good service for a forum which is primarily English speaking.

Actually, you were being rather rude to Rowanstaff who was trying to help you (even if they politely pointed out where you had been inappropriate.) Rowanstaff is not a moderator or administrator here. They are just a regular forum person like yourself (although they've been around longer.)

In the future, it would be appreciated if you would not take out your frustration or desperation on others (whether here or on another forum.) One really will find that politeness and patience gets you much more positive help than negativity or deliberate rule breaking.
