Yea, I go to build mode and I can't do anything...like I can click on it, and it shows what it needs to show, I can click on objects (Walls,...
go to the buy mode...click on the sort by room icon and on the dining room....then just click on the tables and it SHOULD be there...:)
try asking the parents permission 1st and then just call and click go out....when the sim leaves and u click on the icon of him...it should say...
